Network Engineer

Our client, a growing managed services provider, is looking for a Network Engineer with strong hands-on installation and configuration experience, sharp customer-facing skills, and solid exposure to Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.

You'll be the go-to person for designing, installing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure directly in client environments, working closely with senior engineers on solutions built to last.

What you'll be doing:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining firewalls, switches, and access points — with regular hands-on work on Fortinet and Palo Alto gear
• Troubleshooting networking issues and resolving escalations
• Working directly with customers on-site, from diagnosis through to delivery and knowledge transfer
• Supporting identity infrastructure like Entra ID and Active Directory
• Working across DNS, DHCP, routing, and cloud environments (Azure VMs, VPN Gateways, Intune)
• Documenting configurations, procedures, and diagrams so customers are set up for the long run

• 2+ years in a related field, or a relevant degree
• Solid installation/configuration experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls (Cisco, HP, SonicWall, or Ubiquiti a bonus)
• A track record of working confidently in client-facing environments
• Strong grounding in IP addressing, VLANs, port aggregation, LDAP, and RDP
• Comfort with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
• Experience supporting Windows Server, M365, PowerShell, and EDR/backup tools
• Certifications a plus: Security+, Network+, AZ-104, AZ-700, PCNSA
