Job description

New Business Account Manager – IT Services (Mid-Market)

📍UK (Remote)

Are you a proven new business hunter in IT services who knows how to win, build, and close?
We’re partnering with a leading, well-established IT services provider that is investing heavily in growth with multiple hires planned across their sales teams. This is a standout opportunity to join a high-performing environment where results matter, deals are meaningful, and success is rewarded.

This isn’t a role for someone finding their feet; it’s for experienced sellers who can hit the ground running, build a pipeline fast, and consistently land new logos.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning the full new business sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Targeting and winning mid-market and enterprise customers across the UK
  • Building and executing strategic account plans to unlock new opportunities
  • Developing multi-threaded relationships with key stakeholders
  • Creating and managing a strong, qualified pipeline
  • Leading consultative sales engagements (not transactional deals)
  • Positioning IT services across cloud, infrastructure, and Microsoft-led solutions
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, bringing insight, not just sales pitches
  • Collaborating with internal SMEs and partners to deliver tailored solutions
What we’re looking for
  • Proven track record in IT services / managed services sales (non-negotiable)
  • Strong new business (“hunter”) mindset with consistent quota achievement
  • Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise customers
  • Demonstrated success winning new logos
  • Background in MSP or IT services environments (preferred over vendors)
  • Comfortable selling cloud, infrastructure, and Microsoft ecosystems
  • Skilled in managing complex, consultative sales cycles
  • Evidence of deal values, targets, and performance (you know your numbers)
  • Existing network and relationships within the UK market is a strong advantage
This is probably not a good fit if:
  • you are focused purely on channel, alliance, or partner sales
  • you come from a SaaS-only background without exposure to IT services
  • you haven’t had the opportunity to own and win new business
  • you need a longe ramp-up to get up to speed in this environment
Why this opportunity?
  • Join a scaling sales function with significant investment
  • Work in a mature, structured sales environment with strong backing
  • Sell high-value, business-critical solutions (not commoditised products)
  • Be part of a team that values performance, collaboration, and innovation
  • Real opportunity to make an impact and grow your career
What’s on offer
  • Competitive salary + uncapped earning potential
  • 25 days holiday (rising to 27) + bank holidays
  • Volunteering days + personal day
  • Pension, life assurance & enhanced parental leave
  • Option to buy additional leave
  • Cycle-to-work scheme and more
If you’re a high-performing IT services salesperson who thrives on winning new business and wants to be part of a growing, ambitious team, let’s have a conversation.

Research indicates that men will apply to a role when they meet only 50–60% of the requirements, while women and other underrepresented groups often look for a 90–100% match. If this role excites you but you don’t tick every single box, please still apply. We’d love to hear from you.
