Staff Product Engineer, Full Stack (Backend-Leaning)

$180,000-$250,000 base + bonus's + RSUs

We're partnering with an AI-driven product team, backed by a Fortune 500 parent company, building generative AI products for accounting and finance professionals. Startup speed and ownership, backed by enterprise-level resourcing.

This is a backend-heavy role (~70% backend / 30% frontend) — you'll design and build the Python/FastAPI services and APIs powering our AI products, and contribute to the React/TypeScript frontend when a feature needs a UI. We're looking for engineers who've shipped real products end-to-end, not just contributed features inside a larger system, and who want to own complex, multi-month projects from idea through launch.

What you'll need:
7+ years building web applications at scale, with deep Python backend expertise (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and comfort contributing to React/Next.js/TypeScript on the frontend. Real 0-to-1 product experience, strong technical leadership instincts, and a genuine product mindset.

Nice to have: AI-native product experience, LLM/prompt engineering exposure, startup background, or cloud/event-driven architecture experience.
