Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic client projects involving data strategy definition, operating model design, and business case creation
  • Conduct and facilitate data maturity assessments, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative workshops
  • Oversee implementation of data strategies, including governance models, policies, processes, and technology recommendations
  • Manage and mentor project teams while contributing to internal capability building and training
  • Help evolve service offerings and contribute to thought leadership in data transformation and advisory

Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in data strategy, data management, or transformation consulting roles
  • Deep familiarity with industry-recognised frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC) and practical application in client environments
  • Demonstrated experience delivering strategic roadmaps, target operating models, and enterprise data change programmes
  • Strong ability to scope, plan, and oversee projects while engaging senior stakeholders effectively
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing, diverse teams in dynamic environments
Must Haves:
  • Experience in financial services, either in consulting or internal transformation functions
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and trends, such as GDPR, ESG, LIBOR, or Consumer Duty
  • Familiarity with data management and visualisation tools such as Collibra, Solidatus, Ataccama, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Insight into best practices around data governance, analytics strategy, and enterprise data capabilities
