Founding Software Engineer

💼 Type: Full-time | Founding Team
🌟 Compensation: $140k-180k + equity
About the Role
Our client is a rapidly growing AI startup in the B2B sales intelligence space, scaling at 25% month-over-month. They’re looking for a hungry, innovative, and product-minded Founding Software Engineer to join their team in person in New York.
This is an opportunity to get in at the ground floor and shape the future of a fast-growing company. You’ll work directly with customers, own significant parts of the product, and solve some of the most challenging problems in AI and sales automation.
What You’ll Do

Lead and own full-stack development of product features

Architect systems and ship production-ready code

Collaborate directly with customers to inform product decisions

Influence the company’s vision, roadmap, and strategy daily

Engage in spirited discussions about AI, product decisions, and even which emoji belongs on the landing page 😄
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience building and deploying software used by real customers

Expertise in Python and SQL

A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Strong communicator who collaborates openly — including with AI coding assistants

Empathetic leaders who contribute to a creative, fun, and productive culture
Bonus Points If You Have

Experience leading engineering teams

Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments

Experience with Django, Pandas, React, JavaScript, Node.js
