Founding Software Engineer
📍 Location: New York City (in-person)
💼 Type: Full-time | Founding Team
🌟 Compensation: $140k-180k + equity


About the Role

Our client is a rapidly growing AI startup in the B2B sales intelligence space, scaling at 25% month-over-month. They’re looking for a hungry, innovative, and product-minded Founding Software Engineer to join their team in person in New York.

This is an opportunity to get in at the ground floor and shape the future of a fast-growing company. You’ll work directly with customers, own significant parts of the product, and solve some of the most challenging problems in AI and sales automation.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and own full-stack development of product features

  • Architect systems and ship production-ready code

  • Collaborate directly with customers to inform product decisions

  • Influence the company’s vision, roadmap, and strategy daily

  • Engage in spirited discussions about AI, product decisions, and even which emoji belongs on the landing page 😄


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience building and deploying software used by real customers

  • Expertise in Python and SQL

  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Strong communicator who collaborates openly — including with AI coding assistants

  • Empathetic leaders who contribute to a creative, fun, and productive culture


Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience leading engineering teams

  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments

  • Experience with Django, Pandas, React, JavaScript, Node.js

Interview Process
