CPG Global Sector Sales Lead

Overview

We’re partnered with a global data, analytics, and AI consultancy to appoint a senior commercial leader to own and scale a priority industry sector across the UK, US, and key international markets.

This is a senior, client-facing role focused on sector strategy, revenue growth, and market positioning—working closely with delivery, product, and leadership teams to drive sustainable, long-term growth.

Who You Are

  • Senior sector-focused sales or consulting leader with strong commercial instincts

  • Experienced operating in complex, consultative sales environments

  • Comfortable engaging C-suite stakeholders and building peer-level relationships

  • Hands-on, non-hierarchical leader who thrives in fast-paced environments

The Role

  • Own the vision, strategy, and growth of a global sector practice

  • Position the business as a trusted advisor and market leader within the sector

  • Balance short-term revenue delivery with long-term, sustainable growth

Key Responsibilities

Sector Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the sector vision and growth strategy across key geographies

  • Build repeatable, differentiated sector-specific go-to-market propositions

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive new business, account expansion, and strategic client development

  • Convert relationships and pipeline into sustainable, profitable revenue

Client & Account Leadership

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships across strategic accounts

  • Partner with clients as a trusted business advisor, not a delivery-only provider

Capability & IP Development

  • Help shape sector-specific IP, offerings, and best practices

  • Leverage internal capabilities to deliver differentiated client outcomes

Experience & Attributes

  • Strong background across consulting, sector sales, or advisory leadership

  • Well-developed network in the UK and/or US markets

  • Proven track record of growing revenue and strategic accounts

  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills

  • Values-led, commercially driven, and comfortable operating in PE-backed environments
