Senior DevOps Engineer | AI Scale-up |Remote (US/Canada)

Primis is partnered with a profitable enterprise AI Scale-up who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help own and evolve the infrastructure that supports our systems as they grow.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, working closely with engineers to improve reliability, deployment velocity, and operational maturity.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure across multiple public cloud environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized services
• Support microservice-based systems using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code
• Improve observability, security, and deployment workflows
• Partner closely with engineering teams to support efficient delivery

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
• Hands-on production experience across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
• Strong experience with containers and orchestration in production
• Proven use of IaC tools (e.g. Terraform or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and distributed systems
• Comfortable operating independently in a small team

Nice to have

• Experience supporting data or AI/ML platforms
• Familiarity with React/NextJS or Python/FastAPI environments
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and cost optimization
