Compliance Manager & Deputy MLRO

Salary: Up to £55,000

Location: Gibraltar (4 days onsite)

Are you passionate about compliance, AML, and safer gambling? Our client is looking for a

Compliance Manager & Deputy MLRO to play a key role in supporting and overseeing their safer gambling and AML functions. This is an exciting opportunity to blend operational leadership with strategic compliance support across remote gambling operations in the UK, Ireland, and Gibraltar.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the safer gambling and AML team, supporting MLRO activities and monitoring compliance across KYC, CDD, and EDD.
• Assist with rota management, ensuring the team is fully covered and supported during busy periods.
• Conduct monitoring, reviews, and investigations, providing operational support as needed.
• Help design, implement, and review compliance, AML, and safer gambling policies and procedures.
• Oversee safer gambling initiatives, including monitoring, interventions, and escalation of concerns.
• Support staff training programs to ensure the team stays up-to-date with compliance, AML, and responsible gambling policies.
• Prepare regulatory submissions, reports, and act as a point of contact for internal teams on compliance matters.

What they’re looking for:

• 3-5 years’ experience in compliance, AML, or safer gambling roles, ideally within remote gambling or financial services.
• Experience supporting a MLRO or acting in a deputy AML role is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UKGC, RGA/Ireland, and Gibraltar Gambling Commission regulations.
• Familiarity with responsible gambling frameworks and AML/KYC best practices.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as ICA, ACAMS, CAMS, or ICSA are a plus.
