Account Executive (Enterprise/Strategic) | Cybersecurity SaaS | NYC / DC

Our client is a global leader in cybersecurity, trusted by tens of thousands of organizations worldwide. Their platform helps enterprises defend against advanced threats including social engineering and emerging AI driven attacks, combining security training, threat simulation and intelligent defense capabilities built on years of behavioral data.

The Account Executive (Enterprise/Strategic) is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts and maximizing all sales opportunities within them. This position will promote and sell the company's products and services to enterprise sized businesses (organizations with 1501+ employees), with the objective to achieve and exceed monthly sales quota. This can be achieved by targeting new business as well as reactivating lapsed customer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company's range of cybersecurity products and services

  • Identify and close net new customers within assigned accounts

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers by developing and managing relationships with prospects

  • Forecast new business prospects that result in successful client relationships and sales

  • Identify key decision makers while developing and qualifying new business opportunities within targeted markets through cold calling, networking and high level prospecting

  • Articulate the value proposition of the company's products and help customers understand how they will improve their overall security posture

  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas and targets

  • Be well versed in the company's product offerings and promote them at trade shows as requested

  • Follow up on marketing leads to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline

  • Act strategically in offering or negotiating discounted pricing, in line with established policies and procedures

  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of customer calls, emails, notes, tasks and demos in the CRM

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales

  • 3+ years selling software, ideally within cybersecurity or IT

  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the IT security field

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Stats driven business professional

  • Motivated, energetic self starter

  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills

  • Able to work with minimal supervision

  • Bachelor's degree a plus
