Job description

Job Title: Power Platform Solution Architect
Location: UK (Hybrid / Remote)
Salary: £65,000–£75,000 + benefits
Type: Permanent, Full-time

If you’re already the person clients turn to when things get complex, you lead workshops, shape requirements, and spot opportunities before anyone else, then you’re ready for the next move into a Power Platform Solution Architect role.
This is a new headcount in a growing team. You’ll have real scope to shape how solutions are designed and delivered, while still being close to customers and the work.
If you love pre-sales, solution shaping, and working directly with stakeholders, this is for you.

The Role:
  • Lead client workshops and discovery sessions
Run requirement-gathering sessions, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and translate business needs into clear solution designs.
  • Own the early-stage solution conversation
Work alongside sales and account teams on pre-sales, helping to define scope, shape proposals, and support bids.
  • Design robust Power Platform solutions
Create architectures that cover Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse with an eye on scalability, security, and governance.
  • Guide governance and administration
Help customers understand how to manage, govern, and scale their Power Platform estate effectively.
  • Collaborate across Microsoft 365 and Azure
Ensure solutions integrate cleanly with Microsoft 365 and, where relevant, Azure services.
  • Experiment with new capabilities
Get hands-on with emerging tech such as Copilot Studio, bringing ideas back into the team and to clients.

Must-haves (Soft skills and experience)
  • Experience as a consultant (or similar) working directly with customers.
  • Strong track record in requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable in pre-sales conversations: scoping work, discussing options, and spotting upsell opportunities.
  • Able to explain technical concepts simply and build trust quickly with senior business and IT stakeholders.
  • Self-sufficient, organised, and confident operating with minimal supervision.

Must-haves (Technical)
  • Solid, hands-on experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Understanding of Power Platform governance and administration.
  • Background in solution design across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
  • Familiarity with REST/OData APIs and modern integration patterns.
If you have no real Power Platform experience (for example, purely a Microsoft 365 consultant trying to pivot without hands-on work), this role won’t be the right fit.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary (£65k–£75k)
  • 25 days holiday (rising to 27), plus bank holidays
  • 2 volunteering days and 1 personal day each year
  • Company-matched pension
  • Life assurance
  • Enhanced parental leave policies
  • Option to buy extra annual leave
  • Cycle2Work scheme and a range of additional benefits

Research indicates that men will apply to a role when they meet only 50–60% of the requirements, while women and other underrepresented groups often look for a 90–100% match. If this role excites you but you don’t tick every single box, please still apply. We’d love to hear from you.
