Position Title: Senior Full-Stack Web Developer

Role Overview: The Full-Stack Developer will play a crucial role in assisting with the development and maintenance of both frontend and backend systems. This position involves working with React for frontend development and Django for backend processes. The successful candidate will support the implementation of new features and optimize existing functionalities. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with the Machine Learning (ML) team to integrate AI capabilities into our products. Participation in architectural discussions and decision-making processes is also expected.

Lapis is an early stage startup fundraising a pre-seed round and is now building its engineering team. Our product will go through numerous and rapid iterations as we are exploring the best user interaction paradigms, so the candidate should be keen in exploring options and move from one to the next fairly quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining mostly the frontend (JS/React) and backend (Django) systems.

• Support the implementation of new features and optimization of existing ones.

• Report to the CTO and work with him in to develop the UI for our AI platform.

• Participate in architectural discussions and decisions.

• Contribute to UX improvements.

• Azure experience.

Qualifications:

• >5 years of full-stack development experience.

• Advanced knowledge of React, Django is a plus.

• Familiarity with LangChain and Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.

• Candidates should showcase their prior experiences through a comprehensive portfolio.
