Role Overview

The CTO will be responsible for crafting and implementing a company-wide technology strategy, overseeing the product roadmap, and advising on product portfolios and the development of proprietary intellectual property (IP). This leader will also assess and manage outsourcing arrangements to drive cost efficiency and operational effectiveness while ensuring delivery of best-in-class customer-facing solutions.

This position requires a broad base of technical expertise across cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and business process automation, alongside strong operational and product leadership skills. The successful candidate will combine technical depth with strategic insight to scale the organisation's technology capabilities globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology & Product Strategy: Define and deliver a forward-looking technology vision aligned with growth and scalability objectives across all business units.

• Product Roadmap & Innovation: Lead the creation and execution of an innovative product development roadmap, ensuring the organisation stays ahead of industry trends.

• Technical Operations: Oversee the technology infrastructure and supplier ecosystem, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable systems to support internal operations and client needs.

• Outsourcing & Efficiency: Evaluate and manage outsourcing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and accelerate digital transformation.

• Legacy System Transformation: Drive the modernisation of legacy systems, enabling rapid scale and operational agility.

• Cross-Unit Collaboration: Provide strategic technology guidance to all divisions, ensuring alignment of product development with business goals and fostering the growth of intellectual property.

• Leadership & Talent Development: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing technology organisation that encourages innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Strategic Partnerships: Manage and leverage external partnerships and alliances to optimise technology investments and operational performance.

• Scalability & Growth Support: Ensure the technical foundation supports the organisation’s ongoing expansion initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated success leading technology functions in mid-to-large-scale Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or professional services environments.

• Strong track record of managing international technology teams, ecosystems, and vendor relationships.

• Exceptional ability to bridge technical depth with strategic business communication at the executive level.

• Proven expertise in designing, scaling, and optimising technology operations in high-growth settings.
