About the Role

We are looking for a junior and ambitious individual to join our growing sales team. This is a client-facing role and the first step towards becoming a qualified investment manager. The role requires drive and an eagerness to learn, regardless of background. Training will be provided, so the ideal candidate will either be a recent graduate looking to build a career in investment management or an individual with proven success in another industry that wishes to start a career in investment management.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate two things: a desire for personal excellence and a strong sense of integrity. With those, we’ll help you build an extraordinary career within this industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of investment and wealth management in the UK.
  • Build a strong comprehension of Henderson Rowe’s philosophy, strategies and product suite, and be able to communicate this clearly to investors.
  • Engage with prospective investors who are either appropriate clients or interested in working with us.
  • Schedule and hold calls with investors to understand their objectives and arrange relevant next steps.
  • Demonstrate our value and points of difference to help turn leads into prospective clients.
  • Support the investment management team during the meeting and client onboarding process. Eg: preparing relevant materials and following up on action items
  • Update CRM system with accurate data and activities.
  • Uphold regulatory standards in line with FCA and compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

If you can demonstrate aptitude, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal skills, then we would like to hear from you.

That said, there are preferred skillsets that help make for a strong application:

  • Demonstrated success in a sales or client-facing environment.
  • Experience in relevant financial services (ie: wealth management, private banking, advisory).
  • Natural organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Personal interest in investment and portfolio management.
  • Familiarity with financial terms and concepts.
  • Progress or interest in pursuing relevant professional qualifications.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
