Mid-Atlantic Region (Remote with Travel)

Our client, a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for the public safety sector, is seeking a passionate and driven Account Executive - Public Safety to join their specialized sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping state, county, and local government agencies modernize their operations and better serve their communities.


The Opportunity
As the Account Executive (Public Safety), you’ll be at the forefront of driving digital transformation within public sector organizations. You’ll engage directly with C-level leaders and decision-makers across the public safety landscape, building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering innovative technology solutions that make a real impact.
You’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to closing and serve as a strategic advisor, connecting customer needs with best-fit technology solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and manage strong relationships with senior leaders in state, county, and local government agencies.
  • Present tailored technology solutions that support first responders and public safety professionals.
  • Drive the full sales process, leveraging your understanding of both technical solutions and business value.
  • Partner with key vendors and internal teams to create compelling proposals and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Use CRM tools (such as NetSuite) to manage pipelines, forecast accurately, and maintain organized records.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings—both in person and virtually.
  • Contribute to state contract management and procurement processes.

What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of proven technology sales experience, ideally selling hardware/software solutions into the public sector or first responder market.
  • Demonstrated success engaging C-level executives and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of how technology drives efficiency, ROI, and public safety outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills—able to translate technical value into business impact.
  • Experience with CRM systems (NetSuite or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%, including occasional overnight trips.
  • Previous law enforcement or public sector experience is a plus.
