Role: Google Cloud Architect
Duration: 12 months (extendable upon renewal)
Rate: £500 per day inside IR35
Location: 5 days on-site – London

Primary Technical Skills:
Google Cloud Platform, Google IAM, Terraform, Authentication Protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), Serverless Computing, Containerisation, Python, GoLang, SQL, Agile

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform

• Implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance

• Participate in IAM governance and compliance audits

• Deliver secure-by-design, defence-in-depth cloud solutions

• Work in an agile, fast-paced environment with a strong delivery focus

Required Experience:

• 3+ years applied experience with formal software engineering training

• Strong hands-on GCP experience (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, GKE)

• Proven Google IAM experience (OIDC, Workload Identity Federation, role management)

• Strong Terraform skills and scripting in Python or GoLang

• Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures

Preferred:

• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure

• SQL experience

• Docker / Kubernetes

• GCP Associate or Professional certification
