Full Stack Founding Engineer
New York, NY (Seaport) | Full-Time | Hybrid (4 days/week in office)
About the Role
Our Client is seeking a Full Stack Founding Engineer to help shape the future of their enterprise software platform. As an early technical leader, you’ll own the design, delivery, and operation of the product. You’ll play a key role in defining technical strategy, writing production code, and establishing the foundation of the engineering culture.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground level and have a direct impact on product direction, architecture, and long-term vision.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance web applications
Translate product requirements into technical specifications in close collaboration with the team
Write clean, tested, and well-reviewed code
Drive architectural decisions that will set the foundation for the platform
Partner with data and ML/Computer Vision teams to build seamless integrations
Help foster a culture of engineering excellence and technical ownership
What You’ll Bring
Strong full-stack development experience
Proficiency with JavaScript, React, Next.js, Postgres, Python, Flask, AWS, and GCP
A track record of building scalable applications from scratch or in high-growth environments
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Excitement about being hands-on while also influencing technical strategy
Bonus: Experience with LLMs, Data, or Machine Learning
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $140K – $180K
Equity: 0.4% – 1%
