Senior Full Stack Engineer | Mission-Driven Platform | Remote (US)
Primis is partnered with a fast-moving team that is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build a national-scale web and mobile platform launching in 2025. This is a chance to join a founding group of experienced product and engineering leaders and work on a project with real social impact.
About the project
You’ll help design and build a volunteer and event management platform that will allow thousands of Americans to discover local opportunities to get involved in their communities. The web and mobile experience will go live ahead of a major national initiative next spring.
What you’ll be doing
Build the web platform and add features to the mobile applications (iOS & Android)
Develop a robust backend system for event and user data
Integrate a Webflow-based marketing site with the core product
Collaborate closely with a tight-knit founding team (CPO, CTO, and product designer)
Move quickly — MVP target in February
What we’re looking for
Strong experience with React and Node.js
Comfortable working across the full stack — from API design to UI integration
Bonus: React Native (or similar) for mobile development
Back-end orientation with an eye for great user experiences
Experience in consumer, social, or event-based products is a plus
Self-sufficient, proactive, and motivated by meaningful work
