The role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing backend services, APIs, and internal portals that underpin a high-throughput platform. You’ll work with modern engineering practices including BDD, automated testing, and CI/CD, collaborating closely with peers across product and engineering.

The role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing backend services, APIs, and internal portals that underpin a high-throughput platform. You’ll work with modern engineering practices including BDD, automated testing, and CI/CD, collaborating closely with peers across product and engineering.
What you’ll be doing
- Translating merchant and partner requirements into scalable, high-quality software solutions
- Designing and building robust backend services and APIs using .NET
- Improving development workflows through automation, simplification, and engineering best practices
- Embedding quality throughout the software lifecycle with a strong focus on testable and observable behaviour
- Working cross-functionally to deliver technically sound solutions on time
- Supporting releases end-to-end, from requirements through to production
- Leading by example within the team through collaboration, professionalism, and adaptability
- 6–8 years’ experience as a Software Engineer
- Degree in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent practical experience
- Strong expertise in C# / .NET with solid Object-Oriented design principles
- Experience building server-side products, working with SQL and relational databases
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with design patterns, refactoring, and clean code practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in both small, agile teams and larger engineering environments
- A proactive mindset with the ability to experiment, iterate, and validate solutions
- A culture where engineering voices are heard and ideas are encouraged
