Staff Data Engineer
Location: Remote (U.S. based) | Team: Engineering | Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for an exceptional Staff Data Engineer to elevate our data platform and empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you’ll architect and scale systems that support analytics, intelligence, and machine learning—helping define the next generation of fraud prevention technology.
What You’ll Do

Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics and product insights.

Lead architectural decisions to ensure high performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver data solutions that drive operational excellence and strategic initiatives.

Establish and uphold best practices for data quality, governance, validation, lineage, and observability.

Mentor and support other data engineers, fostering a culture of technical rigor, collaboration, and continuous learning.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a staff-level data engineer or technical lead in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment.

Strong background in leading engineering teams and defining long-term technical vision.

Deep expertise in modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).

Proficiency in Python or Scala, along with strong SQL skills.

Hands-on experience with real-time data processing technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming) and data modeling for analytics and machine learning.

A proactive mindset, ownership mentality, and passion for tackling complex, high-impact problems.
