Director of Product Management – Talent Acquisition

Location: New York City (3 days in office)
Salary: Up to $200,000


Our client is on a mission to transform the way hiring happens in the hospitality industry, and they’re looking for a forward-thinking Director of Product Management to lead the charge.
 

This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping a best-in-class, forward-thinking Talent Acquisition platform tailored for the hospitality industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and directly with clients to deliver outstanding results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the roadmap. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for the Talent Acquisition suite, from discovery to launch and beyond, balancing speed, quality, and measurable results.
  • Modernize the stack. Rethink how hiring tools should work: smart sourcing, mobile-first workflows, streamlined hiring pipelines, and AI-powered decision support.
  • Champion the candidate journey. Design frictionless, intuitive application flows that help attract and convert high-volume frontline talent.
  • Stay ahead of the curve. Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and industry shifts to keep your products at the forefront of innovation.
  • Build what customers love. Partner closely with clients and internal teams to identify real problems and turn insights into scalable solutions.
  • Lead across functions. Work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to bring big ideas to life.
  • Bring bold ideas to life. Use emerging tech, AI, ML, analytics to create standout features that elevate hiring outcomes.
  • Grow your team. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers who are passionate about learning and delivering with impact.
  • Be data obsessed. Set success metrics, track performance, and continuously refine products to reduce turnover, speed up hiring, and boost ROI.
  • Make go-to-market seamless. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and CS to ensure your products hit the market with clarity, purpose, and adoption.
What you’ll bring:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (CS, Engineering, Business, etc.); a Master’s or MBA is a bonus.
  • 5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years leading enterprise SaaS products. Experience in HR tech or Talent Acquisition is a big plus.
  • A proven track record of taking products from idea to launch, with strong business outcomes to show for it.
  • An ability to translate complex tech into clear value for users and stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator with a knack for bringing people together across teams and disciplines.
  • Deep empathy for users and a drive to solve real-world problems, especially in high-volume hiring environments.
  • A passion for innovation, user-centered design, and scalable solutions.
Even better if you have:
  • Experience in SaaS or enterprise-grade products.
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms used in the hospitality or service industry.
  • A background in building or managing products designed specifically for hospitality.
