Full Stack Engineer (Hybrid, London - 3 Days/Week)

We’re working closely with a scaling start-up seeking a proactive Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and maintain core systems that support the company mission. Reporting directly to the CTO, this role offers unmatched visibility, autonomy, and the chance to lead from day one.

What you will own:

• Architect and develop scalable, future‑ready backend systems
• Build internal dashboards and tools to streamline operations
• Design, manage and optimise relational database schemas (PostgreSQL / Supabase)
• Improve platform performance, reliability, and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

Your tech toolbox:

• Node.js for backend services
• Next.js for frontend experiences
• PostgreSQL (via Supabase)
• Working with Shopify APIs is a great bonus

About you:

• 5+ years in backend engineering roles
• Strong grounding in system-level design and architecture principles
• Logical, detail-oriented thinker with clean coding practices
• Passionate about building tools and infrastructure at scale - ideal for a fast-moving startup
• Experience at a top-tier university or equivalent academic credential is preferred
